THE REAL STORY
I was driving down Dewdney towards pinky road to take some photos of my bike in the sunset (ya sounds kinda..whatever) when at the corner of Dewdney and McCarthy I was struck by a woman driving a van turning north, not reducing but accelerating through the intersection. I had a green light, but so did she..she "didnt see me"
I saw it coming, tried to gun it, but only to get struck right in the middle of the Van, leaving my pocket knife in her grill.
The impact took off my foot, ripped my stomach from my spleen, fractured my left scapula, fractured my right little toe and not to mention the road rash.
I felt the impact, rolled and tumbled, looking at my bike go flying through the intersection and into the next street, thinking crap...my paint..
Then I looked to see why my leg hurt so much and realized my foot was NOT connected. Screaming on the street, people came to my aid, the whole time I hear the driver screaming "OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, IM SO SORRY"
I remained conscious from the time of impact to the moment they took me into the O.R. to try to save my foot.. however, hearing the Doctor say, "there are probably parts of his bone still on the street" did not give me alot of confidence.
The next week were a haze.. Morphine is probably my worst enemy.
It seemed all my problems were working against each other.
However, Im still alive, it could easily have killed me.
Im bed ridden for 22 hours a day, Physio Therapy will get me back to the point where I get my muscles back, and be strong enough use a walker or crutches, to get to my wheel chair until my "stump" is well enough for a prosthetic..
Problem is.. the operation was a rush trama amputation rather than a controlled surgical amputation, and I now need more leg taken off.
I remain optimistic though. I cant wait for the day I can go home, hop around until I get my robot leg.
Through a lot of hard work and optimism one day soon I hope, I will be back to my old self again... scratch that.. I cant wait to be a better man.

March 16th 2010
Summer is coming and so is bike season. Being a "biker" myself, I am very excited for this time of year, and especially THIS year. Good news for me is bad news for those of you planning on getting work done by me in the upcoming summer months. I will be taking from June 4th to Aug 1st to ride to many events and go on as many bike trips around North America as I can. This only means that I will not be STARTING new large pieces (EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY), if you are currently undergoing sleeve work or a back piece, you will be able to continue, but I will not be starting anything that will take more than one or two sittings from now until August. MAKE SURE to book in for August! I’m sorry for any inconvenience, but life is too short not to live it. I have been blessed with many opportunities and I plan on taking advantage of every single last one of them! Thank you for your continued support, and remember that the rest of the staff at In the Flesh are more than willing to help you out this summer!
I should also add that I WILL be doing a few photo shoots, and am available to shoot in the down time when Im recovering from the road.

JANUARY 12th 2010
Its been over 6 months...wow.
The past 6 months have been challenging and hard work, but a lot of fun.
I have started a few new large projects in other countries, and cities and I am enjoying traveling quite a bit.
The new year promises to bring a lot more travel and a lot more hard work at home.
My frequent visits to Victoria, Huntington Beach, Los Angeles, and Lancaster keep me busy with clients in each city and new clients are welcome, as the more I have going on, the more frequent I will visit.
At home I am always welcoming new challenges as well.
The rumors of me not accepting new clients is false.. it was only for a brief time when I was learning a new trade.
On that subject, my photography is starting to become as important and as busy as tattooing.
I have invested a lot of time and money into photography and will be accepting new challenges with that as well, including weddings, family portraits, and of course fashion and glamour.
Remember to email me here or call IN THE FLESH (306) 352 7546 to book time!
August 9th
I have come out of hiding and am taking ALL new clients that have been waiting to see me, I appreciate the patience of those who wanted to book in, and am now ready to take on new challenges.
As a show of appreciation, ALL NEW CLIENTS (people I have never tattooed) will get a $100 an hour rate for the FIRST tattoo, up to $1000
This offer is for the month of AUGUST ONLY!!
Book now!
Thank you for your continued support, of ALL the artists here, see you in the chair!
NEW CLIENTS!
6 months ago I stopped taking NEW clients to help me catch up, and focus on other projects.
Like a lot of artists I always end up being booked way too far in advance to get pieces finished in a reasonable time frame.
I now have gotten caught up and am ready to take on some new work.
If you have been waiting or have called the shop in the past and been put on hold, now is your chance. If you are wanting BIG (i.e. Sleeves, half sleeves, back pieces, or generally large tattoos) make sure to book MULTIPLE sittings to insure we are always making progress.
REMEMBER, look at my work, if its what you want to see on you, then Id be more than happy to help, but if you want something COMPLETELY out of character in my portfolio, there are other artists at IN THE FLESH that can help you.
I hope to see or hear from you soon!

So here is the new site, sorry it has taken so long to update this thing.
With all the traveling I have been doing, the new adventures in photography, and my usual schedule of insanity I have had no time to do this.. however, Lindsay pushed me into it, and I thank her for that.
As most of my regulars know, I have not been taking new clients for the past 6 months and it has really let me catch up on some stuff.
Im STILL not taking on a lot of new work and being very selective in what I take on, but encourage you to at least ask.
I have hired a new artist at In The Flesh, Im sure you all know Topher, formerly of Insurgent Tattoo. Im glad to have him with me.
Now that I have 100% control over my site, I promise to update regularly.
